Fred Allen Smith, 80, 8312 Strickland's Crossroads Road, Four Oaks, died Tuesday at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Kennebec Baptist Church in Angier, with the Rev. Mark Howard and the Rev. Timmy Blair officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born Oct. 25, 1937, in Wake County to the late Rufus Mayton and Lena Stephenson Smith.
He is survived by three children.
Visitation will be 2 to 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.
