Albert Handley "Al" Gillikin, 61, died Sunday at UNC Hospital of Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be Friday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Dr. Glenn Phillips officiating. Committal will be private at Willow Dale Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County Nov. 23, 1956, he was the son of Elizabeth Handley Gillikin and the late Robert Fulton "Bobby" Gillikin.
Visitation will follow the service.
