HENRY A. WHITE

Died Dec. 30, 2017

Henry A. White, formerly of Goldsboro, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017.

"God's place, heaven." John 3:16.

He graduated from Henry County Training School second in his class, and graduated with honors from Fort Valley State College, Fort Valley, Ga.

He was an employee of Carolina Products Plant of General Electric on George Street for 32 years.

He was a member and a dedicated trustee board member at First African Baptist Church, the Rev. Dr. Louis S. Leigh Jr. pastor.

After retirement, he moved back to his home in McDonough, Ga., and rejoined his home church.

With sadness, love and hope for the future are his loved ones his loving wife, MaeBelle C. White, a former teacher in Goldsboro City Schools, Wayne County, Johnston and Wake County Schools, and his children, Renetha Scharonda White Black, daughter, and sons, Henry Adolph White Jr. and Hugh Alexander White.

Services will be held at his home church, Shiloh Baptist, 262 Macon St., McDonough, Ga., with pastor the Rev. Dr. E.W. Lee, Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at 11 a.m.

Viewing will be at 10 a.m.

Services are entrusted to Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral Home, 4347 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, Ga.
