James Neal Casey, 69, Goldsboro, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family.
Neal was born in Wayne County July 30, 1948, to the late Sam C. Casey Jr. and Sarah W. Casey.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Neal was a partner in the family business, Wayne Hardwood Lumber and Arrington Chip, for more than 50 years.

Those of us who knew Neal weep at our loss, laugh with our remembrances and reflect deeply on how much he meant to us. He made the world a healthier and happier place.
