Mervin Vaught, 82, 438 Old Grantham Road, died Monday at home.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Purpose Church of Wilmington. Burial will be Monday at noon in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He was born July 4, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Lucille Lewis.
He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Saturday an hour prior to the service at the church.
