Leonard James Gurganus, 56, died Sunday at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Stanley Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Willie James and Annie Pearl Grady
Gurganus. He was
married to Michelle Sugg Gurganus.
He is survived by four sons.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times, at the home.
