DIEU THI NGUYEN

Dieu Thi Nguyen, 92, passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at UNC Wayne Healthcare surrounded by her family.
Dieu was born in Vietnam May 25, 1925.
She was married to the late Thang Nguyen.
Dieu was a very dedicated member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church and Legion of Mary Prayer Group.
She was a volunteer for many organizations, and enjoyed helping people.
Dieu will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Father Alex Gonzalez officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Dieu is survived by her son, Thuy Ngoc Nguyen and wife, Hanh; daughters, Thanh Nguyen and husband, Luan Vo, Tuyet Nguyen and husband, Danh Nguyen, Thuy Nguyen, Mai Nguyen and Tu Nguyen; brother, Van Tran; and sister, Gam Tran.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Dieu was preceded in death by a daughter, Thu Nguyen.
A Rosary will be Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at 7, followed by a visitation with the family until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be given to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1603 Edgerton St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
