KEVIN BRUCE OGBURN

Kevin Bruce Ogburn, age 55, died Thursday at home. He was born in Roanoke Rapids to Mildred Earl Shell and the late James Clifton Ogburn. He was married to Deborah Jean Mays Ogburn. Kevin attended Madison Avenue Baptist Church and was a retired bodily injury claims adjuster with Nationwide Insurance Company as well as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with Dr. Bane Angles officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons, Shane Ogburn and fiancée, Taylor Pearce, and Mayson Ogburn, both of Goldsboro; brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith and Connie Ogburn, Steve and Susan Ogburn, Gary and Kathy Ogburn and Dale Ogburn; and one grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, 1820 W. Webster Ave., Suite 304, Chicago, Ill., 60614.
