Jessie Mae Best, 92, 835 E. Wards Bridge Road, Kenansville, died May 11 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. James AME Church of Kenansville. Burial will be in Best Family Cemetery.
Born in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Lessie McKesson Johnson, and wife of the late Louis Best Jr.
A son survives.
Visitation will be an hour prior to funeral.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
