DORIS WIGGINS DANIELS

Doris Wiggins Daniels, 81, Mount Olive, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Doris was born in Johnston County Jan. 4, 1935, to the late Willie and Thelma Peedin Wiggins. She was married to the late Leland Braxton Daniels.
Doris had worked with Burlington Industries in Mount Olive for more than 20 years.
She was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church.
Doris will be remembered for her love of fishing and for working in her yard and flowers. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Deborah Carroll Jackson of Dudley, Susan Faircloth Moore of Mount Olive, Vickie Kennedy of Beulaville and Jackie Mewborn of Albertson; son, Braxton Luther Daniels of Rosewood; sisters, Joyce Rhodes of Rosewood and Betty Daughtry of Goldsboro; brother, James Wiggins of Pikeville; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Braxton Wayne Daniels and Ronnie Owen Faircloth.
