OMETHA LEA "SAM" NALLEY-HOOKER

Ometha Lea “Sam” Nalley-Hooker, recently of Goldsboro, passed away Oct. 1 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Formerly of Knoxville, Tenn., Ms. Hooker was
born in Garvin County, Okla., to the late Joe and Rosie Nalley.
The youngest of 12 children, Ms. Hooker was preceded in death by both of her parents; brothers, Billy Joe, John and Charles “Sonny;” sisters, Opal, Cleta Fay, Mary, Goldie and Rachael; and son-in-law, Kelly Long.
She is survived by her sisters, Virginia, Rose and Anna Lou; her best friend and partner in mischief, Marlene Snyder and family; special nephew, Rick Nalley; daughter, Brandy Long; her beloved grandsons, Joe Taylor and Glenn Long; and a variety of special friends and extended family.
As she wished, there will be no services, and her ashes will be placed with her parents in Pauls Valley, Okla.
