Van Dewey Taylor, 78, 215 S. Baker St., Eureka, died Thursday at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehab Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at noon at St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. Burial will be at Turner Swamp Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery of Eureka.
He was born Aug. 30, 1937, in Wayne County to Van Dewey Sr. and Annie Edmundson Taylor.
He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m., with the family present 6 to 7 at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
