Kaye Fields Harrell, 76, lifelong resident of the Mount Olive area, passed away Monday evening, June 13, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Jonathan Altman, followed with entombment at Wayne Memorial Park.
Visitation will be at the funeral home during the hour before the services.
Kaye was a member of Thunder Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was employed as manager and sales clerk in various retail and clothing stores, including Cato's, Elite Fashions, Belk-Tyler's and the Green Stamp Store.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gordon Harrell of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Roy Glenn Willoughby of Kenly; a granddaughter, Rebecca Whitley of Mooresville; a sister and brother-in-law, Gail and George Jones of Whitakers; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her parents, Thurman Fields and Ruth Lindsay Fields, preceded her in death.
