Ruby Barnes Brown, 97, of Fremont, died Saturday, May 7, 2016.
The funeral for the family was held Sunday at Elmwood Cemetery, Fremont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Brown; son, Sonny Brown; and sisters, Dixie Edmundson, Ladell Pate and Daphne Fulkerson.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Brown of the home and Lee Gray of Pikeville; sons, Robert Brown of Fremont and Charlie Brown of Windsor, Va.; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Marjorie Singleton of Fremont.
Arrangements are with Wilson Memorial Service.
