David Allen Chesnutt, 77, 613 S. Taylor St., died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born Oct. 13, 1938, in Clinton to Henry Chesnutt and Alice Nadine Davis Chesnutt. He was married to Peggie Robinson Chesnutt.
He is survived by three children.
Visitation will be Friday at St. Mark Church from 5 to 7 p.m., with the family present 6 to 7. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter at 105 Harding Place, Goldsboro.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations Inc.
