GREGORY D. OTELLIO

Gregory Dean Otellio, 56, resident of Dudley, died early Monday morning, Nov. 2.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., he was the son of the late Jack Dean Otellio and Frances Lee Scott Otellio.
An entrepreneur, he operated several business entities in recent years, including Otellio's Pizza and Subs at Mar Mac, GO Construction and Family Portrait Project, which did fundraising and charity photography for churches, fire departments and the likes.
He was an instrumental presence with Celebrate Recovery Ministries at Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was always eager to share his skills at mastering the cooking grill with his family, friends and church family.
He was indeed a wonderful husband, a loving father and grandfather and a good friend to many.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Worrell Otellio of the home; five children, Jacquelyn Suzanne Hudson of Nahunta, Heather Michelle Otellio and Samantha Leigh Otellio both of Mount Olive, Anthony Dean Otellio of Nahunta and Joseph Dean Otellio of Parkton; seven grandchildren, who fondly referred to him as "Bomps," Madison Suzanne Hudson, Hannah Ann Maison Spell, Chloe Michelle Otellio, Otis Murphy Arnold, Aiden Smith, Paisley Otellio and Jacob Dean Otellio; a brother, Phil Otellio and wife, Sharon, of Nevada; three sisters, Sharon Schmidt and husband, Mark, and Christine Warmouth and husband, Tom, all of Cleveland, Tenn., and Toni Otellio of Nevada; a dear friend, Terry Molnar of Wilmington; and his father-in-law, Henry Worrell of Mount Olive (whose deceased wife was Martha Williams Worrell).
A private family service will be held at a future date.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, Nov. 6, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the residence, 1028 O'Berry Road, Dudley, and friends may call at other times as well.
