Ethel Medlin Worley, 83, Princeton, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield.
Born May 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Lillian Aycock Medlin.
She was also predeceased by brothers, Luther, Elbert, Dixon, Charlie, Harvie and J. T. Medlin; sisters, Hazel Rich, Mozell Medlin, Ruby Medlin and Ann Tedder; and a grandchild, Lee Person.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015, in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jack Booth and the Rev. Percy Coleman officiating. Burial will take place in Eason Cemetery Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at 10 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Russell "Tommy" G. Worley; sons and daughters-in-law, Bryant Worley and wife, Frances, of Macclesfield, Steve Worley of Princeton and Mark Worley and wife, Bambi, of Pikeville; daughters and son-in-law, Terry W. Mercer and husband, Elton, of Fayetteville, Ark., and Debbie Gill of Princeton; brother, Tony Medlin of Selma; sister, Adell M. Sauls of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Casey Funeral Home chapel and at other times, at 3131 Progressive Church Road, Princeton.
