Peggy Jean Kornegay, 67, 100 Lewis Ave., Mount Olive, died Tuesday at home.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Michael McDougal officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of Frank "Dick" Armwood and the late Christine Pearsall Armwood, and wife of Charles Kornegay.
Five children survive.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 6 to 7. At other times, the family will be at the home.
