Anthony Gilchrist Sr., formerly of Goldsboro, died July 2 in Charlotte.
Funeral will be Saturday at noon at Greater Providence Baptist Church in Charlotte.
He was born to the late Katie Faison Gilchrist. He was married to Vergie Gilchrist.
He is survived by two sons.
