MARY ANN SMITH MILLARD

Mary Ann Smith Millard, 83, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Millard was born in Wayne County Dec. 20, 1931, to the late Jim Berry Smith and Lela Futrelle Smith.
She was married to the late William Ira Millard, who preceded her in death Dec. 16, 2010.
Mrs. Millard retired from Bell South after 29 years of service.
A service celebrating Mrs. Millard's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tommy Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
Mrs. Millard is survived by her daughter, Regina Millard Smith and husband, Keith, of Goldsboro; son, William Gerald Millard of Goldsboro; and sister, Rose Towbin of Goldsboro.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Earl Smith.
