LOIS PEARCE ROBBINS

Lois Pearce Robbins, 84, a lifelong resident of Wayne County and a member of Providence United Methodist Church, died early this morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, P. R. Robbins; her grandson, Cameron T. Robbins; her parents, Ezra and Ada Herring Pearce; and her brother, Lloyd Pearce.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times, at the family home, 1371 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Robbins is survived by her children, Davor Robbins Royal, Desmond E. Robbins and wife, Yvonne, Timothy J. Robbins and wife, Donna, and Merle Robbins Elam and husband, Charles.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Benjamin E. Royal and wife, Elleana, Perry R. Baker and husband, Tommy, Nicholas Robbins, Madeline Elam and Rachel Elam, and her great-grandchildren, Ethan Royal, Emily Royal, Eli Baker, Owen Baker and Mally Grace Baker.
Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Lorraine P. Sullivan, Dixie P. Toler, Gladys P. Bartlett, and Fran P. Hood and husband, Phillip, and many dear nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given in her memory to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
