Stephen Jacob Swain, 63, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Saturday in Wilmington.
He was born in Chatham County July 9, 1950, to the late Ray and Jessie Motsinger Swain.
He is survived by a son and two daughters.
Arrangements are by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
