Mrs. Cabana was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church from the time she and her family moved to Cleveland, Ga., in 1968. Lifelong Catholics, the Cabanas were one of the founding families of St. Paul back when mass was held in a small house behind their home on Underwood Street.

Madeleine also loved playing cards. The fellowship she found in her bridge club was a great joy in her life.
But most important to her were her Catholic faith and her family. To those who loved and cared for her, Madeleine leaves the legacy of her strong faith in God, her devotion and love of family and many memories of a happy well-lived life.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Tench, Matthew Cox, Kirby Stevens, Jimmy Cox and Vince and Jacob Parente.
