Elaster Johnson, 73, 209 E. New Hope Road, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ, with bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born July 13, 1940, to Elijah and Leora Coley Johnson in Wayne County. He was married to the Rev. Doris McNair Johnson.
He is survived by five children.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
