KENNETH MORGAN BOYETTE

Kenneth Morgan Boyette, 79, passed away Saturday.
Ken was born March 26, 1934, in Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jimmy William Boyette and Bessie Morgan Boyette.
He has one sibling, Betty Jean Howell of Goldsboro.
Ken is survived by his wife of 25 years, Margaret Leggett Boyette. Ken and Margaret were well known by their friends and church family as "The Doll-ins."
They have four children, Kimberly Annette Moore (Jimmy) of Wilson, Karen Annette Candes (John) of Clayton, William "Joseph" Joe Parrish (Cindy) and Karen Parrish Long (Ben) both of Zebulon, and five precious grandchildren, Evangelos and Alex Candes both of Clayton, Brooks Stancil and Cameron and Katelyn Long all of Zebulon.
Ken retired from the state with 30 years of service as a driver's license examiner and parole officer. He was owner of B&L Office Furniture, as well as Boyette Auction Co. in Wilson.
Ken was not only a loving devoted husband and father, but a wonderful Christian friend to all.
A celebration of Ken's life will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Gordon Sebastian and the Rev. Dr. Keith Hudson will officiate.
