ELOISE DORSEY SKELTON

Eloise Dorsey Skelton, 93, passed from this life July 21, 2012, to enter into her heavenly father's kingdom.
She was born in Tennyson, Ind., Sept. 15, 1918, to Daniel C. Dorsey Sr. and Octavia Jamison Dorsey.
She lived in Evansville, Ind., before moving to Goldsboro in 1985.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Todd Wiggins officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with family and friends attending.
A former member of the Kirkwood community, she had been a resident of Willow Creek Nursing Home for the past few years.
Eloise was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters and a special grandson, Phillip Sartore.
Eloise leaves to cherish her memories her son, Norman R. Skelton and wife, Leona, of Goldsboro; her daughter, Glenda Cook of Oceanside, Calif.; three grandchildren, David Sartore of Henderson, Ky., Timothy Sartore of Evansville, Ind., and Laura Skelton Lukacs of Hesperia, Calif.; three stepgrandchildren, Vickie Gurley of Rosewood, Delana Ansems of Goldsboro and Angie Wyche of Tallahassee, Fla.; and many special great-grandchildren.
