DURHAM -- Caroline Paige Daniels, 16, Durham, danced into the arms of Jesus Sunday, July 8, 2012, due to complications of a stem cell transplant to treat a rare form of lymphoma since diagnosis in 2008.

Caroline was born in Raleigh to John and Paige LaFevers Daniels Dec. 7, 1995.

Caroline was a loving friend to anyone whom she had the opportunity to come in contact with. She was a young lady who had a passion for dance and was a talented artist. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and church youth group.

She attended Durham School of the Art 6th-9th grade, and transferred to Jordan High School for 10th grade excelling academically at both schools.

She had the gift of giving her time and talent to people of all ages. She loved her canine companion, Cody, and rabbit, Scooter.

Caroline is survived by her parents, John and Paige Daniels of Durham; brother, Dawson Daniels of the home; maternal grandparents, Anita and the Rev. Sam McMillan of Boone and Dr. Steve LaFevers and Sharon of Goldsboro; uncles and aunts, H.B. and Tracey Moore of Greenville, Eddie and Julie Daniels of Goldsboro, Steven and Jessica LaFevers of Greenville and Dr. Scott and Kim LaFevers of Goldsboro.

Caroline is also survived by many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ed and Annette Daniels, and her cousin, Nicole Uzzell Daniels.

A funeral service will be offered 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from Triangle Presbyterian Church, 5001 Tudor Place Durham, N.C., 27713, with the Rev. Ray Cobb presiding. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at New Hope Friends Cemetery in Goldsboro.

Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions in Caroline's name may be made to the Triangle Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund at 5001 Tudor Place Durham, N.C., 27713.

The Daniels family is under the care of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service in Durham.
