CLARA PAUL CANNON

Clara Paul Cannon, 88, passed away early Saturday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held today at 6 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Pete Radford officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Ann and Willie Shaw. Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Mary Perry Paul and the wife of the late Johnnie Cannon. She was a member of Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church and the D.A.V. Auxillary.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Lovett and wife, Millie, of Goldsboro and her daughter, Ann Shaw and husband, Willie, of Goldsboro; two sisters, Rozier Walters of Lumberton and Zell Davis of Los Angeles; four grandchildren, Marty Shaw and wife, Missy, Perry Shaw, Rachel Jones and husband, Kevin, and Eric Lovett and wife, Leah; eight great-grandchildren, Kala Shaw, Drake Shaw, Hope Jones, Patrick Jones, Maggie Jones, Hayden Lovett, Ana Griffin Shaw, and Adler Shaw.
