MOUNT OLIVE -- Estelle Hollamon Grady, 95, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Sutton's Retirement Center.

Mrs. Grady was born in Wayne County Dec. 27, 1916, to the late Talmadge and Viola Bordeaux Hollamon. She was married to the late William Harvey Grady.

Mrs. Grady's primary goal was the happiness and security of her family. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Mrs. Grady was a member of Rhodes Friends Church, and attended faithfully up until her later years.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Carroll Overman officiating.

Mrs. Grady is survived by her sons, Delton C. Grady and wife, Ann, of Mount Olive and Harold Grady and wife, Kay, of Fayetteville; her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Grady of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren, Danny Grady and Cindy, Gary Grady and wife, Cindy, David Grady, Angie G. Gardner and husband, Chuck, Lisa G. Lewis and husband, Shelton, Michael Grady and wife, Susie, and Amy Gandy and husband, Steven; her great-grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley and Austin Grady, Dean, Melinda, Kevin and Shawn Grady, Haley and Chase Gardner and Justin and Garrett Lewis; two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Ray Hollamon of Goldsboro; and sister, Doris Jernigan of Goldsboro.

She is also survived by her family-adopted granddaughter, Brittany Wiggins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Earl Grady.

Mrs. Grady's family would like to acknowledge the staff of Sutton's Retirement Home, who had a profound impact on the quality of her life in recent years. It is our hope you know how much your love meant to our mother, and how she was blessed every day by your care. Each of you will be a part of our family forever.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Rhodes Friends Meeting Building Fund, 2157 O'Berry Road, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 21, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Delton and Ann Grady, 933 Mills Road, Mount Olive, N.C.
