SOUTHPORT -- Franklin Delano Boykin Sr., 78, died Thursday at The Laurels at Forest Glenn in Garner.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Original Freewill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Lloyd Hargis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born June 9, 1933 in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Clovis and Lois Godwin Boykin.
He is survived by two sons.
Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home.
