Danny Herbert Hill, 55, died Monday, May 14, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A service to remember his life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Tyndall Funeral Chapel in Mount Olive, officiated by the Rev. Wayne Nelson, with a time of visitation afterward.
Danny was a painter, and was the son of the late Elton Ray Hill and Charlotte Whitfield Hill Sykes.
He is survived by a son, Daniel Hill of Goldsboro; four brothers, David R. Hill of Wilmington, L. C. Hill and wife, Joanie, of Goldsboro, Michael W. Hill and wife, Sally, of Goldsboro and Joseph Hill of the home; several nieces, nephews; and special friends.
