Lottie Dunegan Long, 92, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Lottie was born in Albany, Okla., Sept. 6, 1919, to the late George H. and Gertrude Dunegan.

She was a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Okla., and taught at the North Carolina Rehab Center for the Blind.

Lottie was a member of Goldsboro Friends Meeting.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Rufus Butner officiating.

Lottie is survived by her husband, George Walter Long; her son, George D. Long and wife, Robin; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving pets, Irving, Little Feather and Trixie.

Lottie was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 14, 2012, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
