Rachel Bland Grantham, 83, passed away Thursday evening at home.
Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Johnny and Maggie Ezzell Bland and was married to the late Cecil Everette Grantham.
She is survived by her son, Everette Grantham, of the home and two sisters, Helen Best of Mount Olive, and Louise Troiano of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Rachel enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her flowers, and watching birds.
