MOUNT OLIVE -- Mr. Kenneth Lee, 70, 720 Jordan Chapel Road, passed Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Liberty Health Care in Benson.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Friendly Holiness Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Mount Olive, with the Rev. David Jarman officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Family Cemetery.
Mr. Lee was born Jan. 15, 1942, in Wayne County, to the late Pearl Wise and David Thomas Lee.
He worked as a farmer until he later retired.
Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Peggy Lee of the home; a son, Brian Lee of Newton Grove; three daughters, Cindy (Jamie) Thornton of Newton Grove, Margaret (Eric) Tyndall of Mount Olive and Kristi (Justin) Best of Wilmington; a brother, Norman Lee of Mount Olive; four sisters, Phoebe Gupton of Clinton and Lois Aman, Nancy Barefoot and Debbie Jackson all of Mount Olive; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the church.
The Lee family has entrusted Hope Valley Funeral Service and Cremation of Clinton.
