Andrew Jones Jr., 73, departed this life Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The homegoing service will be held Friday at
1 p.m. at Alpha and Omega Christian Center, 1210 Clingman St., Goldsboro, with apostle Frank M. Dawson officiating, apostle Kenneth Vaughn presiding and minister Dexter Jones doing the eulogy.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m. at The Bishop Lonnie E. Holloway Sr. Memorial Chapel at Smith-Holloway. Family will receive relatives and friends at 910 National Drive, Goldsboro, where it will also assemble in preparation for the funeral processional.
Andrew leaves to cherish his memories 12 children, Shirley Kinzer (Robert) of Hope Mills, Sheila Jones of Goldsboro, Carolyn (Bernard) Thomas of Goldsboro, Kenneth (Renee) Jones of Clayton, Barbara Jones of Greenville, Andrew (Dana) Jones III of Concord, Dexter (Petula) Jones of Goldsboro, James Swinson of Baltimore, Md., Curtis Jones of Washington, D.C., Lorinda Thornton of Greensboro, Aisha (Carnell) Jones-Peeples of Washington, D.C., and Aaronica Jenkins of Washington, D.C.; 33 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 11 siblings.
Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Holloway Funeral and Cremation Services.
