RACHEL ROYAL BRYANT

Mrs. Rachel Royal Bryant, 94, 809 E. End Circle, Goldsboro, departed her earthly life peacefully Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Rachel was born in Anson County Jan. 28, 1918, to the late Grace Flowers Royal and Robert Lee Royal.

She was educated in the public schools of Anson County.

Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Jonnie Mack Bryant; her father, Robert Lee Royal; her mother, Grace Lee Flowers Royal; two sisters, Easter Hinson and Mary Bessie Willoughby; and two brothers, Dock Royal and George Royal.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 11 a.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home chapel, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, with elder Raveion Moses officiating.

Also, a public viewing will be held Friday, May 4, 2012, at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Mrs. Bryant leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories brother, Mason Royal, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

The family will assemble at the residence of elder James and Mrs. Carolyn J. Barnes, 607 S. Claiborne St., Goldsboro, an hour prior to the funeral at 9:50 a.m., in preparation for the funeral procession.
