Eulah White, 89, of 629 Isler St., graciously departed her life Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel FWB Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, with Elder James E. Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 500 US Hwy. 117 North.

Eulah was born in Wayne County on Feb. 9, 1922, to the late Mary Woodard Hill and William Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon White.

Mother White was a faithful and loving member at Goldsboro Chapel FWB Church. She served as a member of the Floral Club.

A public viewing will be held Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at McIntyre Funeral Home and Florist, 900 S. George St., from 2 until 6 p.m., with the family present from 5 until 6.

Eulah leaves to mourn one son, Conway Hill and wife, Gloria, of Pinellas Park, Fla.; three grandchildren, Brian Hill of Laurel, Md., Ingrid Ewers of Bronx, N.Y. and Diane Allen of Monroe, Ga.; three great-grandchildren, Patrick Ewers, Jordan Benton and Maya Allen; three sisters, Mildred Hill, Bertha Foster and Annie M. Hill all of Goldsboro; one special niece, Doris Atkinson of Goldsboro; one god-daughter, Maria Spencer of Goldsboro; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 629 Isler St., Goldsboro, where they will also assemble Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at 10 a.m., in preparation for the funeral procession.
