MOUNT OLIVE -- Helen Harper Williamson, 78, retired employee of Burlington Industries, and a member of Peace Baptist Church, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice in Goldsboro.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Russ Evans officiating, with visitation immediately following.
At other times, the family will be at the residence at 300 E. Main St. in Mount Olive. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Harper-Southerland Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Albertson.
Daughter of the late Leonard and Pauline Price Turnage, and the widow of Edward Harper and Albert Dexter "Dob" Williamson, she is survived by a daughter, Irene H. Tyndall of Mount Olive; two brothers, Jimmy Turnage of Kenly and Wayne Turnage of Arizona; a sister, Marie Bissette of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Harper; a son, Ronnie Harper; and a sister, Edna Best.
