News-Argus prepares to launch new website

The Goldsboro News-Argus website, online since 1997, will see a major overhaul Thursday.
The new website's layout will offer more stories, photos and video. It will adjust to meet the reader's screen size, and readers can now narrow a search to a date range -- among many other improvements.
The new site also will offer more content from local columnists, letters to the editor, engagements, lifestyle features and information from community church events.
Another big change is a new "Marketplace" section to showcase local businesses.
There is a lot to look at, and we hope everyone takes some time to get acquainted with the new site.
Our goal, as always, is to be the best source of news and information for the people of Wayne County.
