Motorist robbed while stopped at intersection

Two suspects were arrested after police allege they robbed a motorist who was stopped at an intersection.
Just before 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, a man was stopped at the intersection of N.C. 581 North and Claridge Nursery Road.
A woman walked in front of his vehicle and placed her hands on the hood, preventing the motorist from moving forward. The Wayne County deputies arrested a man and woman for robbery that took place on Thursday just before 4:30 a.m.
According to the sheriff report, her action prevented the man from moving forward. The motorist rolled his window down to see if the woman needed help, and when doing so, a male suspect grabbed the victim through the open window.
Deputies arrested Tina Marie Woodlief, 47, of 106 River Bluff Drive, along with Allan David McAllister, 27, of 106 River Bluff Dive. Both suspects have been charged with common law robbery, second degree kidnapping and conspiracy to commit common law robbery.
The victim in this case was pushed into the passenger seat, while the female suspect allegedly entered the vehicle and took the victim's wallet from the console of the vehicle.
Woodlief and McAllister were arrested and booked into the Wayne County Detention Center with a secured bond of $100,000 each.
