House fire on Knollwood under investigation

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office investigates the scene of a fire at 109 Knollwood Drive Thursday morning. The fire that destroyed the doublewide started around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office along with the Grantham, Thoroughfare and Mar-Mac fire departments are investigating a fire that engulfed a double-wide modular home on Knollwood Drive Wednesday evening.
At around 10 p.m. Wednesday, a fire was reported in a residence at 109 Knollwood Drive. Capt. Shawn Harris with the sheriff's office confirmed that no one was home at the time of the fire. The home is owned by George and Rita Daniels, Harris said.
Firefighters are working to determine the cause of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
