Three people were booked in the county jail Saturday for drug-related offenses with combined bonds set near $1 million.
Goldsboro police from the department's selective enforcement unit made a traffic stop on Royall Avenue, which resulted in a vehicle search.
A K9 alerted officers to the presence of drugs inside the vehicle, which resulted in felony charges against three suspects.
Goldsboro police arrested Joshua Damon Quick, 23, of 102 Red Hawk Trail, Seven Springs; Regina Ann Rugkit, 35, of 1708 N.C. 55, Mount Olive; and Alliyah Shantelle Lewis, 24, of 119 N. Georgia Ave., Goldsboro.
Each was charged with felony trafficking in methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lewis was also charged with felony possession of cocaine.
Following the arrest, Quick, Rugkit and Lewis were taken before a Wayne County magistrate where they received bonds pending their first court appearance, slated to take place today, according to police on Sunday.
They were booked in the county jail under varying bond amounts.
Rugkit received a $500,000 secured bond, Quick was booked under a $250,000 secured bond, and Lewis received a $210,000 secured bond.
