Cemetery cleanup

Members of the Goldsboro Rifles, South Central Brigade, Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 760 initiated the first round of a cleanup project of the Flowers-Bundy Cemetery in Mount Olive on June 23. The grave of CPL Furney Flowers, Company H, N.C. 1st Regiment, is located in the family cemetery. The Sons cleared underbrush and vines to reveal the headstones of CPL Furney and others in the family cemetery.
