The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a woman reported that an arranged meeting she made on a dating web site with a local man did not go as planned.

She says the man drugged her, forced her to drink alcohol, took nude photos of her and beat and threatened to kill her.

The woman is not being identified publicly given the nature of the allegations, and the man accused is not being identified because he has not yet been charged by police.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on Dec. 21, at the man's house in Mount Olive, at around 8 p.m.

The report the victim filed with the sheriff's office details the encounter step by step.

The incident is said to have begun with the man telling the woman he had some brownies for her to try. It escalated from there.

She says she told the suspect she was full and diabetic, and that she didn't want it -- but the man reportedly demanded she try the brownie.

The woman later told officers that the brownie didn't taste right. She said she believed it was drugged because, after eating it, she got a headache and began throwing up.

She told the man she wasn't going to stay with him after that, and that is when he got upset.

First, she says he shoved some sort of peanut butter into her mouth, and she went into the bathroom.

The man then got mad and grabbed the woman's head and put her on the floor of the living room.

She says he then choked her and grabbed her by the ears. He tried to force her to drink alcohol, saying, "If you love me, you'll drink this alcohol."

The report goes on to say that the man then punched the woman in the stomach. He tied her hands, and then untied them, and he poured the alcohol into the woman's mouth.

At some point the encounter moved outdoors, where the woman says the man hit her head against a car.

The commotion continued as the two moved next door, where the report says man's mother lives, and he retrieved some kind of liquid and brought it out.

He then allegedly shoved the liquid down the victim's throat and began choking her again.

The two then went back to his house, where he got a camera and began taking pictures of the victim while she was naked, according to her account.

Finally, at one point, the man grabbed a knife and told the victim that if she ever got help for anything, he would kill her. He then reportedly told her she was drunk and had been drugged, she reported.

The woman told police that eventually the man's phone rang and she was able to escape while he took the call.

She said she left and went home ---- to a city outside of Wayne County ---- and that she hadn't called police because her phone battery was almost dead so she couldn't. She said she complied with the man's demands because she was afraid at the time of what else he might have done to her.

Officers told the woman how to take out warrants against the man, as well as how to obtain a domestic violence protective order and a no contact order.

Deputies completed a domestic report on the incident and took photos of the victim.

Maj. Richard Lewis said the victim had not taken any warrants out against the man as of Thursday afternoon, but that the sheriff's office is investigating the allegations.
