Man charged for armed robbery on Lionel Street

Goldsboro police arrested a man Friday in an armed robbery incident after a nearly two-week investigation.
Daijuan Raymel Price, 25, 305 Benton St. Apt. A, was charged with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of possession of stolen property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
On Oct. 5, a 29-year-old man reported he was robbed of his cell phone at gunpoint in the 100 block of Lionel Street.
The Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division began an investigation into the report and developed Price as a suspect, and by Oct. 18, felony warrants were secured for his arrest.
On Friday, Price was arrested at 4:30 p.m. at Fairview Homes without incident.
He taken to the Wayne County Jail and placed under a $51,500 secured bond.
Price's first appearance will be Monday in Wayne County District Court.
