A man reported to Goldsboro police that his girlfriend hit him in the face with a pack of bacon Sunday morning.
The victim reported he was arguing with his girlfriend at their apartment in the 100 block of West Lockhaven Drive when she struck him in the left side of his face with "a package of bacon that was uncooked," a police report on the incident said.
Maj. Anthony Carmon, head of the Goldsboro Police Department's Investigative Services Bureau, said charges had not yet been filed in the case, but the man was told how to take out warrants on his girlfriend.
