A man is facing charges after members of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team reportedly found methamphetamine and paraphernalia in his car during a traffic stop Friday.
Timothy Albert Warrick, 53, of 276 U.S. 13 North, Farmville, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a methamphetamine precursor.
A press release said the ACE Team was patrolling the Grantham area and stopped Warrick for an equipment violation on Stevens Mill Road.
Deputies developed probable cause to search the vehicle, and reportedly found methamphetamine and multiple items used to manufacture methamphetamine inside the car.
Warrick was given a $100,000 secured bond on the charges.
