Man shot in his Eason Street home

The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating after someone was shot in their home on the 500 block of Eason Street early this morning.
According to a police report, the victim allowed two unidentified men into his home around 3:00 a.m.
While inside the residence, an altercation began which ended with the victim being shot twice with a handgun.
Emergency Medical Services personnel responded and took the victim to the hospital. The victim was later able to give his report to police officers personally, according to the report. No information on the shooter was included in the report, other than that he was were wearing a red hat and red shirt.
