Suspect in two armed robberies apprehended, another suspect sought

Full SizeAuthorities arrested a man for two July armed robberies this week in which he allegedly helped someone who is a fugitive.
The second suspect involved is still wanted, on the run and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Raymond Lemuel Cheadle III, 30, of 921 W. Oak St., is wanted in connection to the July 8 armed robbery of Dollar General in Mount Olive and the July 15 attempted armed robbery of the Dollar General on Pikeville-Princeton Road at N.C. 581.
Capt. Shawn Harris with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Cheadle should be considered armed and dangerous because of the recent armed robberies and his violent history.
Anthony Demarcus Langston, 36, of 905 6th St., was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of aiding and abetting robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of first-level trafficking in heroin, child neglect, resisting, delaying and obstructing and resisting a public officer.
Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit found Langston at the Kar Kat at 101 11th St. Tuesday.
Capt. Shawn Harris with the Sheriff's Office said Langston got out of his car and fled on foot before deputies caught him, leaving his young child in the passenger seat.
Authorities allege Langston had four grams of heroin on him at the time of his arrest.
Harris said Langston assisted Cheadle in the armed robberies in July.
A press release said Detective Anthony Tilghman with the Goldsboro Police Department lent numerous hours of assistance in the investigation conducted by Sheriff's Office Detective W. James Cornell and Sgt. Jason Hughes with the Mount Olive Police Department.
