Authorities connected a woman to a break-in on Old Kenly Road and issued warrants for two other men after Smithfield police pulled her car over and found items stolen during the break-in inside her car Wednesday, according to a press release.

Ashley Taheisha Locklear, 25, of 679 McBridge Road, Red Springs, is charged with felony breaking and entering.

Authorities have also issued warrants for 19-year-old Bradley Wayne Locklear and 28-year-old Kevin Earl Lowery, both of Red Springs, for the break-in and larceny on Old Kenly Road.

Both men have yet to be found by authorities.

Bradley Locklear's last known address is 117 Hawkeye Drive, Red Springs, and Lowery's last known address is 466 Columbus Circle, Red Springs.

The release said the Criminal Investigations Division of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office responded to a breaking and entering call on Old Kenly Road Wednesday.

When they arrived they learned people had kicked the door of a home in, went inside and stole several items.

While they were investigating, they learned that Smithfield police had pulled Locklear's car over and three people were inside.

At the time of the traffic stop, they did not know about the break-in.

As authorities investigated the traffic stop, they connected items found inside Locklear's car that were connected to the earlier break-in.

Authorities seized the property and arrested Locklear on outstanding warrants.

Locklear was put in jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
